For example: I agree that the Universal Declaration of Human Rights outlines basic rights of all human beings as the basic human rights of all human beings are protected in 30 Articles. Some of these human rights are:

  • All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights.
  • Everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of person.
  • All are equal before the law and are entitled without any discrimination to equal protection of the law
  • Everyone is entitled to a fair trial/ hearing by an independent and impartial judge.
  • Everyone charged with an offence has the right to be presumed innocent until proved.
  • Everyone has the right to a nationality.
  • Men and women of full age have the right to marry and to have a family.
  • Everyone has the right to own property.
  • Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion.
  • Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression.
  • Everyone has the right to social security.
  • Everyone has the right to work, to free choice of employment, to fair conditions of work and to protection against unemployment.
  • Everyone, without any discrimination, has the right to equal pay for equal work.
  • Everyone has the right to rest and leisure.
  • Everyone has the right to a standard of living.
